Adamawa Police Nab Duo, Recover Stolen Vehicle in Cross-Border Heist

Officers from the Adamawa State Police Command have achieved another significant breakthrough in their ongoing battle against crime, apprehending two suspected armed robbers and recovering a stolen vehicle.

According to a press statement released by SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, anipr, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Adamawa State Command of the Nigeria Police Force, said that police operatives from Yolde Pate Divisional Police Headquarters, led by Superintendent Abdullahi Abubakar, acted swiftly on credible intelligence. They responded to information indicating that suspects, who had robbed Mr. Sadisu Umar Sani of his black Honda Accord (2015 model) in Sabon Gari, Jalingo, Taraba State, had transported the stolen vehicle to Yola.

According to the statement, the suspects have been identified as:

  1. Emmanuel Sale (28), and
  2. Jibrilla Hassan (36),

both residents of Sabon Gari, Jalingo. Both men were taken into custody, and the stolen vehicle was successfully retrieved.

SP Nguroje disclosed that the Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, psc(+), commended the officers for their prompt action. Stressing that the Commissioner of Police has directed that the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Yola, where they will collaborate with the Taraba State Police Command for further discreet investigation and diligent prosecution.

He concluded that the Adamawa State Police Command remains steadfast in its commitment to safeguarding lives and property throughout the state, Adamawa.
